15 OFWs  identified and endorsed by the Migration Services Division under the Public Employment Service Office (QC-PESO MSD) attended a food and non-food livelihood training workshop on June 30, 2021 in partnership with ULTIMA ENTREPINOY. The activity is aligned with and contributes to the efforts of  Quezon City  to prioritize initiatives that will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The beneficiaries were  selected based on their employment status and experiences abroad including those that were displaced or  distressed workers that are willing to engage in livelihood and entrepreneurship initiatives. Providing opportunities and support for these economic activities help address poverty eradication, reduction in unemployment, and to fight the economic devastation caused by the pandemic.
